The State Board for Community Colleges, in a
unanimous vote, set the 2009‐ 2010 in‐state tuition and mandatory
fee rate at $92.70 per credit hour. RICHMOND, Va. (May 21, 2009) – As
a result of the $6.55 per credit hour increase, a full‐time,
in‐state student, taking
a total of 30 credit hours, will payan additional $196.50 for the academic
year.

J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College receives $75,000 from Robins
Foundation to expand college access for at-risk youth RICHMOND,
Va. (February 9, 2009) – J.
Sargeant Reynolds Community College has been awarded a $75,000 grant from
the Robins Foundation to fund the Boost Academy, a component of their Middle
College program, designed to prepare at-risk students for success in adult
education programs.
