If your goal is eventually to earn a four-year university degree, you can get a good start in one of JSRCC's college transfer plans, where you can take freshman and sophomore-level courses, earn an Associate of Arts (AA) or Associate of Science (AS) degree and transfer to a university as a junior.
If you are looking for an educational plan focused on giving you the skills for a specific occupation, consider one of JSRCC's occupational/technical plans, designed to prepare students for employment as technicians, paraprofessionals and skilled craftsmen. In these two-year plans, you can earn an Associate of Applied Arts (AAA) or Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree. For even quicker and more focused preparation for an occupation, you can complete a Certificate (C) plan in two or three semesters.
If your goal is to upgrade your occupational or technical skills, get the training to change your career, or investigate new career possibilities, consider one of JSRCC's Career Studies Certificates (CSC), where you can gain special in-demand job skills in just one or two semesters.
