Providing more scholarships to level the playing field for students limited by financial circumstance. Research shows that 42 percent of students are likely to withdraw from college due to lack of finances. Most Reynolds students work more than 20 hours per week.

SKILLED WORKFORCE  

To help counter the growing shortage of registered nurses, Reynolds will graduate more nurses and allied health professionals by increasing student capacity in required science courses, improving retention, growing scholarship support, and strengthening the bridge between high school and college programs to attract more healthcare students.

New Workforce Training Center
To supplement partial funding from the Commonwealth, private funds raised will allow us to construct and equip a new Workforce Training Center on the Parham Road Campus. This new training center will provide professional development for local employees who need specific skills and qualifications for regional employment.

Through this Institute, we will provide training for new and current teachers to fill the shortage and address attrition in this high demand profession.
