A major focus of the Career Pathways/CAPER Consortium is the development of career pathways that provide students an education with a purpose. The career pathways on this site were developed, implemented, and maintained in partnership between secondary/postsecondary education and business/employers. Career Pathways are available to students to prepare them for rewarding careers in high-skill, high-wage jobs of the new century. It is important for students to consider all academic options to make the best possible career choices.

Leadership for the CAPER Consortium includes secondary and postsecondary administrators, faculty, and counselors as well as business and industry representatives. The CAPER leadership provides direction and support for activities that challenge and motivate students to achieve educational success.
