A dynamic, creative, and experienced Dean of Enrollment is needed to join our management team to develop and provide leadership over the college's strategic enrollment goals.

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-time twelve-month administrative faculty-ranked appointment. Salary range: $67,932 - $140,320. Approximate maximum hiring salary: $90,000. Salary commensurate with the education and experience of the applicant.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Master’s degree in student personnel administration or a related field required. Considerable and comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, and techniques in enrollment services management and administration. Considerable knowledge of recruitment, admissions, registration, financial aid, and records management. Knowledge of federal and state guidelines related to enrollment management and postsecondary education. Demonstrated ability to think conceptually, develop and implement policies and procedures, and make effective and efficient administrative/procedural decisions and sound judgments. Demonstrated ability to lead and direct enrollment management programs and services, utilizing effective organization and prioritization skills. Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external constituencies employing effective skills in communication and presentation in order to integrate and align student enrollment needs with college services. Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic planning initiatives; and conduct evaluations and assessments of enrollment services programs. Demonstrated skill in budget, cost control, fiscal management, and supervision of professional and paraprofessional staff. Demonstrated ability to work with faculty, staff, and students as well as external constituencies/community groups of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientation, disability, and ethnic backgrounds. Demonstrated ability to use a personal computer and current software programs. Effective verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills required. The selected candidate will be required to complete the Commonwealth’s Statement of Economic Interest, and must successfully pass the college’s pre-employment security screening.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Doctorate or advanced graduate studies in community college leadership preferred. Current and progressive enrollment management experience in a higher education setting is also preferred.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES: The Dean of Enrollment (Dean) will provide overall leadership and direction for Reynolds Community College’s student recruitment, admissions, and financial aid programs. The Dean will be responsible for developing an enrollment management program built upon quantitative analysis, strategic decision-making, and an ethos of continuous improvement, while fostering a culture that emphasizes strong personal relationships, a high-touch “white glove” customer-service approach, communication and transparency, flexibility, and collaboration. The Dean will report directly to the president to establish an ambitious vision for enrollment management that can be clearly articulated. Direct reports of the Dean will include the Director of Admissions and Records, Registrar, Director of Financial Aid, Advising Services staff, and Testing Center Instructional Assistants among others.
