When classes are scheduled in SIS, if they use OER, they are given the XOER attribute (second and third sections outlined below). This makes the classes searches (easier) in SIS using the Class Search feature (see below). LT40 is one value for XOER; the other is ZERO.
If an instructor chooses to use lower or offer no cost materials, their sections must be "coded" correctly in SIS or students will not be able to easily locate them.
