For a sixth year, Reynolds Community College joins Virginia Commonwealth University as Associate Campus Partner for the Virginia Commonwealth University Hubert H. Humphrey Fellowship Program. The Humphrey Fellowship Program, a division of the Fulbright Fellowship of the US Department of State, brings accomplished professionals from designated countries of Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, the Middle East and Eurasia to the U.S. at a midpoint in their careers for a year of study and related professional experiences. Fellows are selected based on their potential for national leadership and a demonstrated commitment to public service in either the public or private sector. The Humphrey Fellowship Program provides a basis for establishing long-lasting productive partnerships and relationships between U.S. citizens and their professional counterparts in other countries, fostering an exchange of knowledge and mutual understanding throughout the world.

This year's VCU Humphrey Fellows represent a diverse array of professions, cultural backgrounds, and global regions. Their unique areas of specialization give Reynolds faculty the opportunity to bring broader, global perspectives to community college students. The 2020-2021 Fellow profiles can be found HERE.

The Fellows are interested in an exchange of ideas with Reynolds faculty and students. Faculty may invite one or more of the Fellows to participate in classroom discussions or other Reynolds activities by completing a request form.
