Fast Forward Programs
The FastForward workforce credentials program provides any Virginian eligible to work in the Commonwealth with industry certification training. These programs are available at one-third the normal cost of tuition for all residents of Virginia, and Virginians with financial need may also be eligible for additional tuition support including a grant covering all tuition, fees, books and supplies. New statewide workforce programs such as Virginia Ready and Re-Employing Virginians, also offer financial aid to pay 100% of tuition, books, and supplies for job and certification training for occupations and industries in which there is a strong regional demand for skilled worker. And, those earning select FastForward credentials receive a $1,000 Virginia Ready cash stipend.
The Community College Workforce Alliance (CCWA) works in partnership with Reynolds and Tyler Community Colleges to serve students with a fast track to the workforce with training and credentialing programs that can be completed in weeks or months.
