Reynolds Announces New Partnership with City of Richmond

Reynolds Community College and the City of Richmond recently announced a new partnership to expand educational opportunities for city employees. The partnership leverages the programs and pathways of Reynolds as the most trusted partner for credit and workforce education.

“Our greatest superpower is our localness,” said Dr. Paula Pando, President of Reynolds. “We care deeply about the communities we serve. We program around our community’s needs. We program around employer needs.”

The partnership will initially focus on upskilling and reskilling in automotive, welding, accounting, paralegal, and skilled trades (HVAC, plumbing, and electrical), in addition to short-term credential programs such as commercial driver’s license (CDL), project management prep (PMP), and a national retail certification in customer service & sales.
