Reynolds is currently seeking applicants for the position of Division Support Technician in the School of Business and Industrial Trades (SBIT) with work locations on both the Parham Road and Downtown Campuses.

TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Full-time classified position with state benefits.

DUTIES: Reporting to the Dean, the Division Support Technician provides a variety of administrative and programmatic support to the School of Business & Industrial Trades on the Parham Road and Downtown Campuses. The duties of this position will include, but are not limited to, coordinating the workflow of the day-to-day operations of the campus division office; providing direct support to the Dean, teaching faculty, and staff; serving as a member of the academic scheduling and advising team; assisting with the compliance to college requirements for all adjunct faculty hires for accurate submission to the Office of Human Resources; and, other administrative duties to ensure the efficient operation of the office. This position will provide exceptional customer service at all times to a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and other college customers.


QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Considerable knowledge of administrative and office support functions, office equipment, and office management. Demonstrated skill and ability in data entry, typing, use of personal computers with software applications including Microsoft Office and Google Suite; and data collection and analysis. Ability to interpret and apply college and state policies, exercise independent judgment to solve problems, and train and direct the work of others. Working knowledge of basic bookkeeping/accounting principles with ability to manage a budget. Demonstrated ability to utilize highly effective organizational skills and to multi-task in a fast paced environment. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing; and experience successfully working with multi-generational and diverse populations. High school diploma or equivalent.

QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Bachelor's degree and/or post-secondary education or certificate in office systems/business or related field is preferred. Current experience with and knowledge of community college programs, policies, procedures, and operations in order to provide accurate information to internal and external constituencies. Microsoft Office Suite Certification is also preferred.

PAY BAND: 3

STARTING SALARY: Maximum starting salary, $43,000. Based on related experience.
