Testing Placement Specialist

Reynolds is currently seeking applicants for three Testing Placement Specialist positions which will be assigned to Enrollment Management and Student Success on the Downtown or Parham Road Campuses.
TYPE OF APPOINTMENT: Part-time hourly position without state benefits. Part-time employees are restricted to working approximately 29 hours per week or less, and no more than 1,500 hours annually.
DUTIES: The Testing Placement Specialist will administer placement tests, make-up tests, distance education and other tests for the Downtown or Parham Road Campus Testing Centers, according to published guidelines and procedures. This position will perform a variety of other administrative and office support tasks to ensure the efficient operation of the Testing Center.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Working knowledge of educational software programs and tools. Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of support and assistance to faculty and students. Demonstrated ability to follow established guidelines and procedures; perform administrative and office support functions; and to use a personal computer and current software programs. Demonstrated ability to work with students of varying backgrounds and educational levels; and to communicate and work effectively with multi-cultural populations that support diversity, cultural understanding and inclusion. Graduation from high school or equivalent. The selected candidate must be able to pass the college's pre-employment security screening.
QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED: Current experience delivering exceptional customer service in a busy environment is preferred. Experience in instructional support in an academic environment is also preferred.
STARTING SALARY: Starting hourly rate: $13.63 per hour.
