1. Are appointments required?

    Appointments are not required.  However, students may make an appointment either in person or by going into their MyReynolds account, into Navigate and choose "Transfer" in the appointments section.
  2. I want to be guaranteed admission to a four-year college. Where can I learn about VCCS Guaranteed Admissions Agreements?

    The Virginia Community College System (VCCS) has agreements with almost all of the Virginia Public Colleges and Universities.  There are also some private colleges that guarantee admissions as well.  Read more about the VCCS agreements.

  3. Where do I find transfer guides?

    Transfer guides can be found on the college's or university's website, usually under transfer admissions or transfer roadmap.  
  4. Where can I find course equivalencies for four-year colleges and universities?

    You can go to the transfer admissions site of your desired 4-year institution and look for a course equivalency table.

  5. When should I see a transfer advisor?

    Ideally, you should meet with a general academic advisor during your first semester to determine your pathway.  Once you have earned 30 credits toward your pathway, it is recommended that you meet with a transfer advisor to review any specific questions and determine application timeline.  You can check in at any time by reaching out to transfer@reynolds.edu.
