All students registered for classes at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College have access to a college email account that is created automatically for them within 48 hours of registering for credit classes. These accounts are created and managed by the VCCS. Your student email address is also your Blackboard logon and your VIVA logon for access to online library materials. If you have problems using your email account, please go to one of the college's computer labs and ask for assistance from one of our computer lab aides or call the Division of Instructional Technologies & Distance Education at 804.371.3612. For the purposes of privacy and security, students should use their college email accounts instead of personal accounts from other email providers whenever communicating with instructors about their grades or exchanging graded materials.
