Reynolds Student Ambassadors are student leaders who help create a welcoming, connected, and supportive experience for new and current students.
Ambassadors serve as peer mentors and campus connectors, helping students navigate Reynolds, learn about resources, build relationships, and become more engaged in the college community.
What do Student Ambassadors do?
- Welcome and support students during orientation and college events.
- Participate in selected SDV 100 activities and student-success initiatives.
- Share peer-to-peer guidance about navigating college and using Reynolds resources.
- Help connect students with appropriate offices, services, and opportunities.
- Participate in student panels, outreach activities, videos, and campus engagement efforts.
- Represent Reynolds at college-sponsored programs and events.
What are the requirements to become an Ambassador?
- Currently enrolled Reynolds student
- Successful completion of SDV 100 - College Success Skills
- Completion of required Student Ambassador training and onboarding
- Ability to commit approximately 5–10 hours per week during active program periods
- Expected commitment for one academic year, Fall through Spring, provided the student remains eligible and continues meeting program expectations
- Continued professionalism, reliability, communication, and satisfactory participation
What are the benefits of being an Ambassador?
Student Ambassadors receive a stipend for successful participation in the program. Specific stipend and payment details are provided during each recruitment cycle.
Who should apply?
Students who enjoy helping others, want to become more involved at Reynolds, and are interested in developing their leadership and communication skills are encouraged to apply.
Student Ambassadors should be dependable, professional, willing to learn, and committed to helping other students feel welcomed and connected.
