How To Enroll - Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1  Apply For Admission

JSRCC, Start here choose your future
All first-time students and students returning after a 3-year absence can complete the Web Application for admission or download the Application for Admission to be completed and faxed to 804-371-3650, mailed to PO Box 85622, Richmond, VA 23285 or brought to one of our campus Success Centers. This application includes the Virginia application for in-state tuition rates. For more information please see Domicile Determination section of the web.

The college assigns a student identification number (EMPL ID) at the time of application.  Students must use this number to access services on campus or through MYJSRCC.  Students may not use EMPL IDs that have been assigned by other colleges unless JSRCC has adopted the same number.

StudentsApplicants for financial aid are required to submit Social Security numbers.  Pell Grant program applicants are advised the U.S. Department of Education requires Social Security numbers when processing applications.  The Internal Revenue Service also required valid Social Security numbers.
