I was always involved in some sort of fraternity, or organization. In High School, I was in JROTC and several organizations. There I found that I wanted to work with computers. When I went to college, I started off working in a university computer lab, while working on my bachelors, assisting students, staff and faculty. I was in ROTC and various other exploits, but I realized that I loved computing. From there I worked has a GS-4 computer clerk at a local federal government facility. My love of computing grew and I was able to get employment working for a county government. I spent over 10 years at that location, progressing to eventually have a role has a system administrator for a specific department. While serving there, I received my Masters, received official training in Microsoft technologies along with other various training and certificates. I also started helping people with their computing needs such as family, friends and the like. I found I liked helping folks. After receiving my Masters, I decided to pursue what I found to be one of my greatest joys- teaching people how to use technology. So, here I am. I look forward to the future! |
