Due to the ongoing COVID-19 situation, all Campus Business Offices are closed. During the campus closure, please make payments online in your MyREYNOLDS account. Or, mail check or money order payments to PO Box 85622, Richmond, VA 23285-5622, Attention: Business Office.
Please include a student ID on the payment, if mailed. To ensure timely delivery, please mail payments at least 5 business days prior to the payment deadline. For security reasons, we ask that you do not mail cash payments.
To pay a prior term balance that has been sent to collections, please contact TSI collection agency (888-899-1591). The payment confirmation number must be provided to the Business Office (855-874-6682) before you are permitted to enroll in class or request a transcript.
Methods of Tuition Payment
Pay your tuition in person at any campus Business Office during regular office hours. You may pay in person with cash, check, money order or accepted credit cards (VISA, MasterCard & Discover). If anticipated Financial Aid is shown for the particular semester and sufficient to cover your tuition and fee balance in full, no action is required. Classes will be held as long as the account balance does not exceed the anticipated aid for that particular semester. Account balances that occur from a shortage of semester-anticipated financial aid must be paid in full by Reynolds payment deadlines.
You may pay online 24/7 for the current term with a Visa, MasterCard or Discover credit card, eCheck from a checking or savings account. Online payment is processed using QuikPay. Please select the term you wish to pay carefully. Selecting the incorrect term may result in classes being dropped for non-payment. See QuikPay instructions.
Payment by Third Party (Scholarships, Employers, and Savings Plans)
Requirements for all third party sponsorships: students who anticipate an employer or other third party sponsor, including external scholarships, to be responsible for tuition expenses should fax their sponsorship letter to the Central Business Office at (804) 523-5099, or email the letter to email@example.com. Students whose sponsorship letter authorize entire cost of tuition and fees will have their accounts automatically flagged to hold classes once Reynolds receives the authorization from the providers.
All students whose sponsorship letters do not authorize payment for the entire cost of tuition and fees, are responsible for and must pay any and all balances prior to Reynolds payment deadlines before the sponsorship is applied against the student account. Failure to remit payment in a timely manner may result in the removal of enrollment of any and/or all courses. Contact the Business Office at 855-874-6682 with any questions.
Students with a Prepaid529 Plan (Virginia529) who are receiving financial aid or who have a third party authorization (other than Prepaid529) that cover all tuition costs need to contact the Business Office at firstname.lastname@example.org to initiate billing for the Virginia529 account. Otherwise, the college will not invoice the student's Virginia529 account.
To help meet students’ educational expenses, Reynolds provides access to the Nelnet Payment Plan (Formerly TMS). Nelnet is an outside company that offers the payment plan to students at Reynolds.
For a non-refundable Nelnet enrollment fee, students may pay tuition in defined monthly installments to Nelnet. There is no credit check to participate in the payment plan. Payments are made automatically from the bank account (checking or savings) or credit card you specify. There is an additional fee assessed for using a credit card. Students should understand their responsibilities for participation in the payment plan. Learn more about how to access the Payment Plan option.
Past due Balances
The college notifies students of any past due account balances. With the exception of current classes, college services are suspended for students with past due balances. Past due accounts are listed with a state approved collection agency and the state debt set-off program. A collection fee is added to the amount of the past due balance. College services are restored once the student account is paid in full.
Returned Check Fee
A $35 fee is charged for all checks, including eChecks, returned to the college by financial institutions.
