How will I receive my diploma?

After the ceremony, diplomas will be mailed to you at the address on file with the Registrar’s Office.

How can we view the ceremony online?

The ceremony will be live-streamed for viewing if you or your guests cannot attend in-person. The link will be available at go.reynolds.edu/graduation the week of the ceremony.

What should graduates bring?

Please arrive dressed in your regalia. You will need to navigate stairs and walk quite a distance. Please consider this when choosing your footwear for the day as the procession moves quickly. Leave all personal belongings (including cell phones and purses) with your guests. We regret that Reynolds cannot take responsibility for any lost or stolen items.

What items are prohibited?

VCU has informed us that you and your guests will not be allowed to bring weapons, balloons, wrapped packages, or gifts into the Siegel Center. Click here to view the complete list of prohibited items. VCU Police will be on duty at the entrances to help ensure everyone's safety.

Do guests need tickets?

We ask that each graduate limit their guests to no more than 6 people due to capacity limits. Tickets are not required. Guest seating is general admission and is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Where do we park?

Parking for graduates and guests is available in the VCU West Broad Street parking deck (1111 W. Broad St).  The parking decks are cashless and accept credit card payments only.

Is there ADA guest seating available?

There is limited ADA seating around the upper level of the arena seating. This seating is also available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Is public transportation available?

Yes! The VCU/VUU GRTC Pulse station is a short walk to the Siegel Center and runs every 10 minutes. A one-day pass is $3.50. Visit the GRTC website for more information.

What to do after the ceremony?

At the end of the ceremony, the Faculty Marshals and graduates will march out of the arena. Please return to the main entrance level of the Siegel Center.  Be sure to arrange a meeting place with your family and friends before the ceremony.
