Student Support Services provides lactation rooms for students and employees who need a private, comfortable space for pumping while attending classes or working on campus.

  • Downtown Campus: Room 343
  • Parham Road Campus: Georgiadis Hall, Room 236

Lactation Room Procedures

Students and employees who need access to a lactation room should complete the Lactation Room Access Request Form. Once the request has been reviewed, Student Support Services will contact you to coordinate pickup of an access sticker. The access sticker allows you to use the room whenever you are on campus and the room is not occupied.

  • The room is available on a first come, first served basis.
  • When the room is in use, place the Occupied sign on the door and lock the door to ensure privacy.
  • Users must bring their own breast pump, supplies, and milk storage containers. Personal items and breast milk may not be stored in the room.
  • After each use, wipe down all surfaces with the cleaning supplies provided, remove all personal belongings, and return the Occupied sign to the room.
  • Access is valid through the current semester. If continued access is needed, users should submit a new request each semester.
